Author of the Scarlet Sails series

R.C. Stark grew up in Orcutt, California — the same hills where Danny Corsair learned to be still. He spent nearly ten years walking those hills barefoot, learning to watch the creatures living quietly within them. Some of what came to Danny came to him first. He has lived in the deep woods of the Montana wilderness, served an LDS mission in South Korea, and worked a high-tech contract at NASA. He proposed to his wife on a warm summer evening while standing on a cliff, overlooking the shore of Corona Del Mar, where hundreds of candles spelled out the words, 'Will You Marry Me.' The Scarlet Sails series is where all of it went. He currently lives in the Rocky Mountains.
